THEN THERE'S...

We've struggled with this for a couple of weeks now as it's not really so much deranged as damn fine engineering...

These guys are just up the road from us in Carlsbad and they do wonderful work, in multiple categories (there's something for almost everyone).

Simply Bananas...

This belongs to an old friend, Terry Axelson, who also has a very cool banana yellow semi-custom 59 Chevy to tow this with and a great gorilla costume to round out the look. Terry has collected banana art for 30+ years now and we are proud to have donated a number of pieces to his great collection.

Album cover art by Joe Rocha - We had this album cover art made to entice the girls from BananaRama to take us some place warm for the winter and shoot a video with the Banana Bike. We also had T-shirts printed with this airbrushed artwork, made up a BananaGram and mailed the whole package asking them to have "their bunch get in touch with our bunch, so to speak"...

Then there's...

1) New Roadkill - Boosted '78 Chevy Monza Spyder with 5 leaf-blowers!

Ron Russell's 1903 Overland

This is a fabulous forgery - no such animal ever existed...

Wheels and fenders are hand made, powered by a Maytag water pump

Up next: Ron creates another fabulous fake, the 1891 Lambert...
